Two people were injured when their vehicle collided head-on with a truck on the N11 (Majuba Pass) this morning (June 1).
According to a witness on the scene, the truck veered off the road as a result of the incident.
The truck driver was allegedly unharmed.
“The two occupants of the light motor vehicle had to be treated for minor to moderate injuries at the scene before being transported to Madadeni Provincial Hospital and Newcastle Mediclinic,” said the source.
The cause of the collision is still unknown at this time, and police investigations will continue.
