GLENCOE KZN: Horror bend strikes again

The authorities have again been asked to 'do something about this notorious bend'

Glencoe’s Bend of Death struck again on Saturday afternoon when two vehicles were involved in a crash on Biggar Street North.

This is the same spot where barely a month ago three men died when a heavy laden truck careened out of control down the hill and ploughed into a house.

Phumlani Ntombela, Endumeni’s Disaster Manager, said this time round there were no injuries, thankfully.

“It appeared as if a small truck and a BMW were involved in towing and crashed coming down the same hill,” he said. Emergency services were on the scene.
