The SPCA Sponsored day was hosted by the Club this past Saturday.
A total of 16 4’s teams entered, making for a festive day out on the greens!
A total of three games of 10 ends were played in cool conditions. At the end of the day’s play it was The Bowling Crocs who took third place, Finding Nero finished in second place with Bhekilanga Babes (and the Club President) finishing in first place!

However the winners of the day was our furry friends at the SPCA with a total of around R9 000 raised toward the care and maintenance of our four legged friends.
A great achievement indeed! Thanks to all who participated in the day and opened their pockets for such a worthy cause.
“A huge thank you to everyone who supported the day, it was a huge success. Thank you to the Bowls Club, Greg and the team for hosting us. “We collected over R3 000 of dog food alone on the day. As always thanks to the Dundee Community for your support that helps the lives of so many animals,” said SPCA Chairperson, Carmel Pillay.
