Police are currently investigating a case of attempted murder after a shooting in St Chad’s last Thursday (May 20). It is alleged that two unknown suspects entered a home and opened fire on two boys who were sleeping.
It was about 1am when the suspects barged into the home. One of them pulled out a gun and shot a 12-year-old boy in the buttocks. Another boy was shot in the hip. The suspects then fled the scene.

Both boys were rushed to hospital in a private vehicle.
Residents in the area said they heard gunshots and wondered what was happening.
