DUNDEE KZN: Sentraal hope to bounce back from Vryheid disappointment

It was a tough game, but the Sentraal lads were eager and hungry to play

Sentraal rugby players were back in action on the field for the first time in over 18 months on Saturday.

Their away trip to Vryheid was not as successful as they would have wished for, but with all the players still showing signs of rustiness, it was a great way to get the bodies working against tough opposition. The good news is that Sentraal fielded a first and second team against their neighbours.

The second team kicked off at 2pm and ended up losing 38-7. It was a tough game, but the Sentraal lads were eager and hungry to play. In an even tougher encounter, Sentraal’s first team lost 20-0. Sentraal practice sessions are held every Tuesday and Thursday evening at Dundee High. The local lads will be looking forward to bouncing back when they meet Flying Eagles of Dannhauser this Saturday afternoon at the DHS grounds.
