VRYHEID KZN: MTB racing has no age restrictions
Congratulations to everyone who had a good race: Martin Schoeman (2:27.00), Jabu Xulu (2:33.00), Marius van Eden (3:01.00), Eugene Bosch (2:55.00) and Mariska de Villiers (3:19.00).
The ‘Mtunzini Race in the Shade’ turned out to be a ‘race in the sun’… and the wind… and the mud… and the sand. But, as always, it turned out to be a lot of fun.
Congratulations to Lourens Vlam de Beer (2:04.31) who took the win in the 50km event, which turned out to be a very very tough men’s competition! His wife Andrea (3:01.00) also had an excellent race in the 50km event. Congratulations to Leon de Villiers (2:35.00) and his son Duncan (2:30.00), who is in Grade 11, who also had an excellent race.
