DUNDEE KZN: Rotary Interact -encouraging young people to make difference

With over 20,300 clubs in 159 countries, this is definitely a big community to be part of.

The Rotary Interact Club of Dundee High School (DHS), sponsored by Dundee Rotary Club, was started in 2018. These Interact clubs bring together young people aged 12-18 to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of ‘Service Above Self’.

The purpose of Interact is to provide opportunities for young people to work together in a world fellowship dedicated to service and international understanding. With over 20,300 clubs in 159 countries, this is definitely a big community to be part of.

The Rotary Interact Club of Dundee High School is proud to increase that number by more than 60 new, eager learners who will be helping the community through a variety of projects.

Congratulations to the committee that will represent the learners and be the main organisers of the projects: president – Chirag Singh; vice-president – Isak Müller; secretary – Zandisiwe Maphalala; treasurer – Lethu Gule; and convenor – Sphephelo Mhlongo. The Rotary Club is proud of the learners who are taking up this wonderful initiative, and will be making a difference in these very trying times.
