VRYHEID KZN: Owner of funeral service arrested for possession of stolen property

On Friday morning, May 14, the manager noticed that someone had broken into their storeroom.

On Saturday, May 15, Ulundi SAPS detectives, together with Vispol members, arrested the owner of a funeral service for being found with stolen property. It is alleged that the suspect visited another funeral service on May 13 and requested the manager to sell him a dome type of coffin on discount, but the request was denied. On Friday morning, May 14, the manager noticed that someone had broken into their storeroom. She found that the dome coffin, green runner and two grave anchor crosses were missing. The detectives later found the said items in the suspect’s offices and made the arrest.
