Clean drinking water is being wasted
A resident in Fairclough Road is up in arms after having to put up with a burst water pipe in the back of her yard for months now.
She claims that clean drinking water is being wasted, also attracting all sorts of ‘creatures’ that enter her home.
“I am sick and tired of having to contact uThukela, since last year December, and no one has responded to this situation. After trying to contact uThukela a million times, I managed to get hold of them and I was promised that the issue would be sorted out. However, to date, nothing has been done,” she fumed.

“The burst pipe is wasting a huge amount of water, while some areas have to go days with dry taps,” explained the resident.
uThukela had not commented on the matter at the time of publishing.
