VRYHEID KZN: Methodist Church commemorates Freedom Day

The congregation commemorated Freedom Day by assembling before the Heavenly Father to pray for the supernatural intervention of God during this time of the Covid-19 pandemic which has taken the lives of so many loved ones.

The theme of the day was ‘Jesus is the healer of every wound’ as Vryheid Methodist Church celebrated Freedom Day last Tuesday.

The congregation commemorated Freedom Day by assembling before the Heavenly Father to pray for the supernatural intervention of God during this time of the Covid-19 pandemic which has taken the lives of so many loved ones.

Pastor B Cele shared the word of God by reading from Isaiah 61:1. He concurred with the theme of the day by paying particular attention to Jesus’ words when He said: “The Lord sent me to heal the broken hearted”.

Sunday School teacher Dr TP Nkosi extended a vote of thanks on behalf of the children who attended the day’s celebration, as they had lots of fun and were given party packs to keep themselves entertained.
