Endumeni’s own Running Waters hosted Durban outfit Ethekwini Coastal FC at the Oval on Saturday in a crunch ABC Motsepe League KZN Stream game.
Both teams didn’t hold back; the pace was frenetic and crunch tackles were put in.
Despite numerous opportunities to take the lead, Running Waters couldn’t capitalise on their chances and were eventually beaten by the visitors 1-0.

Ethekwini Coastal FC’s win meant they did the ‘double’ over the local side this season, having won the previous encounter 3-0 in April.
Running Waters are now eighth in the Stream A table, five points ahead of Royal Eagles and three points behind XI Experience FC.
Next, they will play Summerfield Dynamos on May 5 at 3pm at the Chatsworth Stadium.
The teams drew 2-2 when they last met in March.
