Siyabonga Macu and Doctor Ngwenya will appear in the Madadeni High Court next January.
During proceedings in the Newcastle Magistrates B Court today, representatives of the State said they had received indictments from the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions in Pietermaritzburg, which confirms the charges against both accused and details of their High Court dates.
Macu and Ngwenya were remanded into custody. However, their legal representatives have submitted applications to file affidavits on new information, with the intention to seek bail for their clients.
