Ladysmith KZN: Islamic Medical Association reaches out to keep the young ones healthy

The Islamic Medical Association (IMA) visited Môrester Children’s Home on Sunday, April 18, to conduct an outreach programme.

150 children, ranging from six months to 18 years of age, were attended to by medical practitioners that included audiologists, optometrists and dentists. The screening process allowed the medical team to sort out any problems encountered.
There were many sponsors of the programme.

Islamic Educational Centre (IEC) learners handed out food hampers as well.
Môrester director Lizette van Niekerk was grateful to the team for choosing the Home for the programme.
