NEWCASTLE KZN: Resident celebrates her 101st birthday
Frances Thole turned 101 years old at the weekend.
Hard work, faith and diligence – these are the fundaments of a long life, according to Frances Thöle.
Frances celebrated her 101st birthday on Saturday, surrounded by close family. She has been a resident of Newcastle for almost five years and lives with her son, Trevor Smale.
Through the course of her life, Frances has watched humankind advance from ox wagons to jet planes.
