Angry resident Thembi Khosie is infuriated because she says a burst water pipe has been leaking for the past two weeks in Leonards Street.
She questions why so much water is allowed to go to waste when others struggle with ‘dry taps’ on a regular basis.

She claims to have contacted uThukela on numerous occasions, but has received no feedback from them.
Thembi says the road is blocked and motorists like herself are forced to use alternative routes, which is frustrating, as they arrive late for work in the mornings.
uThukela has been approached for comment, but none had been received at the time of publishing.
