VRYHEID KZN: Vicious killer gets 30 years for savage double murder

Smanga Magwaza has been sentenced to 30 years’ imprisonment for a double murder that was committed on November 1, 2020.

Magwaza stood accused of killing his 25-year-old aunt, Siphesihle Msane, and her five-year-old son.

The savage murders were committed in Unit A, Ulundi, in Mfolozi Street.

The suspect was arrested and a thorough investigation was carried out. The accused was convicted on both counts of murder by the Ulundi Regional Court, meaning that he will spend the next three decades behind bars.
