ESTCOURT KZN: Iskcon hosts street parade ahead of appearance day celebrations

In celebration of the appearance day of the founder of the Hare Krishna movement Lord Chaitanya, the Iskcon Estcourt branch planned spiritual function today (March 28).

The day started with a street parade through Forderville this morning.

A procession of devotees drove through the streets and handed out fruit and sweets to the residents.

The street parade is a prelude to the main event planned at the temple in Bougainvillea Avenue this evening.
