Ladysmith KZN: 5 shot dead in horror shooting in Uitval

Five people were tragically killed this evening (March 27) in a horror shooting along the Helpmekaar Road, Uitval area.
Details surrounding the incident are currently being investigated by the SAPS.
The Helpmekaar Road is currently closed, as police are at the scene and combing the area for evidence.
Police spokesperson Captain Bongani Nyathi has confirmed the shooting and that there were five fatalities.

It is advisable not to travel in this area until the crime scene has been cleared.
