DUNDEE KZN: Take on the 30 Lap Swim Challenge

The entry fee is any donation of dog or cat food, toys or blankets which will be donated to the Dundee SPCA.

The Dundee Aquatics Swim Club will be hosting a swim challenge tomorrow at the Dundee High School Pool from 2pm to 5pm.

Anyone aged between 6 and 99 can enter and you don’t have to be a club member. All you have to do is be able to swim one of the 4 official swim strokes for at least 25m by yourself.

The challenge consists of swimming a total of 30 lengths in the fastest period of time.

Time keepers will be stationed at all 10 lanes to keep track of how many lengths each person completes. The age categories are – 6-9, 10-13, 14-18 and adults – and each age group winner will win free club membership for the next swimming season.

Strict Covid-19 regulations apply and only a limited amount of spectators are allowed to be present. swimmers are also asked to leave the premises once they have completed their swim, to make way for the other swimmers.
