NEWCASTLE KZN: Load-shedding to begin today
Electricity will be switched off as per load-shedding requirements today. Here are your schedules.
The Newcastle Municipality has confirmed that it will, as of today (March 15), be implementing Stage 2 load-shedding from 12 noon.
According to Mlungisi Khumalo, Head of Communications for the municipality, geysers will not be switched off, as recently communicated. This is expected to continue until Wednesday (March 17).
“Residents are urged to make the necessary arrangements before power is disrupted,” stated Khumalo.
