A young girl sadly lost her life this morning (March 9) after being struck by a bus on the Pieters road.
It is believed that the deceased was walking with two other girls when the tragic accident happened.
The girl was declared dead by paramedics at the scene.

Public Safety and police also responded, and are currently investigating the incident.
Devastated family members gathered in the area until the scene was cleared.
