Broken electricity cables in the Smartiesville area are posing a major risk to residents, especially children who walk to and from school or can be seen playing in the streets.
At almost each and every light pole in Marula Drive, there are broken electricity cables hanging from the power lines and dangling on the ground.
These loose wires are incredibly dangerous, as they could lead to electrocution and possibly someone’s death.
Residents living in Smartiesville say they have made numerous attempts to get the issue resolved, yet nothing has been done about it.
They are worried that someone will be seriously injured or even lose their life if electricity zaps them.
