NEWCASTLE KZN: Northern KZN blood donors exceed the target

Donor Relations Practitioner, Shavani Sewpaul released the February statistics this week.

The Northern KwaZulu-Natal branch of SANBS (the South African National Blood Service) has achieved 109,7% of its target for February.

Donor Relations Practitioner, Shavani Sewpaul released the February statistics this week, which show NKZN blood donors are in a league of their own. This continues SANBS NKZN’s streak as the top-performing branch since December last year.

Sewpaul has also confirmed blood clinic dates for March.

Donate blood here on these dates in March:

March 2 – Newcastle High School

March 3 – St Lewis Bertrand’s School

March 7 – Majuba Mall

March 9 – Village Walk, Scott Street Mall

March 11 – Lincoln Heights Secondary School

March 13 – Theku Plaza

March 14 – Majuba Mall, Scott Street Mall

March 18 – Pick n Pay Family

March 20 – Theku Plaza

March 24 – Dedangifunde High School

March 27 – Theku Plaza

March 28 – Majuba Mall

March 30 – Village Walk, Ziphakamiseni High School

March 31 – Memel, Pick n Pay Family.

Please note: mall clinics run from 10am to 4pm except for Sundays (9am until 3pm).

“SANBS is grateful to our schools for re-entry,” added Sewpaul, commenting on schools being added to the mobile clinic list once again.
