ESTCOURT KZN: Top matric learners announced
Estcourt High School’s Thandolwethu Nxumalo was named the area’s top achieving matric learner
The official statistics are in and the Department of Basic Education has released the names of the top learners in and around Estcourt.
Estcourt High School’s Thandolwethu Nxumalo was named the area’s top achieving matric learner.
Thandolwethu received distinctions in all seven learning areas.
She and other grade 12 learners were honoured at Estcourt High School earlier this afternoon (February 26), where Thandolwethu scooped the coveted Dux award.
The top ten matric learners are:
1. Thandolwethu Nxumalo – Estcourt High School.
2. Lwandiso Phakamani Mpembe – Amahlubi Secondary School.
3. Muhammad Sirkhot – Siraatul Haq Islamic School.
4. Thandolwethu Talent Hadebe – Ngibongeleni High School.
5. Yalka Rajcoomar – Drakensberg Secondary School.
6. Lwandile Portia Dladla – Vukasekusile Secondary School.
7. Charlaine Bray Lynn Marissa Freeman – Drakensberg Secondary School.
8. Mukelisiwe Purity Hadebe – Bonokuhle High School.
9. Qiniso Elias Manana – Drakensberg Comprehensive High School.
10. Lungelo Zamokuhle Langa – Drakensberg Comprehensive High School.
