A blue VW Polo, stolen in Sibongile on Saturday night, was recovered on the Dundee / Wasbank road after the driver lost control and crashed, leaving one person dead and another injured. The name of the deceased has not yet been released.
Assault cases on the up as liquor laws ease
Police have warned customers and tavern owners to abide by Covid-19 regulations after numerous assault cases were opened at Dundee police station over the weekend. Police said that ‘numerous victims were assaulted with beer bottles and other weapons’. Police have warned that those who do not abide by the law will be arrested and brought to book.
