Local thrill-fanatics Deron Faurie and Cullen McMaster took to the streets of Ladysmith in unconventional style at the beginning of this past week… Not in a car, mind you, but in a canoe!
The lads, armed with their GoPro and oars, got to see the flooding from a different perspective than most people – they got to see it from water level as they paddled along.
Onlookers were shocked to see them rowing down the street, but not like in Winterton, where community members were using boats and jet skis to get around, as there was so much water.
