ESTCOURT KZN: A heartwarming ‘homecoming’ for published author

The book caters to a wide audience

It is a proud moment for former Estcourt resident and educator Feeyola Dawood, as her book entitled ‘Mothers Know’ will reach South African shores soon, more especially Estcourt.

What started as an intimate gift for her daughter grew into a global message for daughters around the world, and Mrs Dawood says that reaching a local audience has been the cherry on the cake.

“It warmed my heart that so many of my ex-students messaged to say how proud they are that I was their teacher. It’s not about how big or small a town you come from; it’s about believing and knowing you can do anything. Work hard and stay focused,” she adds.

The book has also been receiving heartwarming reviews from global readers who have taken to social media to express their excitement upon getting their hands on the first batch of books.

The book caters to a wide audience, as Mrs Dawood explains: “Please try and get your copy, as it’s an ideal gift for any occasion and every girl / teenager / sister and daughter.”
