NEWCASTLE KZN: Pay it forward through Mojo’s Legacy
"It was always his dream to make a difference in the lives of others."
Losing a child is one of the most painful things a parent can experience but a local couple have turned their tragedy into a blessing for the community.
Zaahid and Ameena Cassim lost their son, Muhammed to a rare form of childhood cancer in December 2019.
“We have have used our experience to try and make a difference in Newcastle,” said the couple, who added it was their earth-bound duty to start up the Superhero: Mojo’s Legacy Foundation.
“Through this organisation, we aim to make the livelihood and burdens of the less fortunate a little bit easier to bear.”Â
