ESTCOURT KZN: Truck driver injured after collision on N3

The vehicle veered out of control and collided into the bridge near Midway

The scene of the collision on the N3 near Midway.

Shortly after 7am this morning (February 11) a truck collided into the bridge at the intersection near Midway on the N3 northbound.
The exact cause of the collision is yet to be investigated.

On scene reports indicated that the driver was travelling from Durban on his way to pick up a load of mealies from Bergville.

The vehicle veered out of control and collided into the bridge near Midway.

Emergency services found the seriously injured driver under the bridge and he was treated on scene before being taken to Estcourt Hospital. No other injuries were reported.
