Ladysmith KZN: Chaos as flooding continues in many areas of the CBD
A few residents have been stranded due to their homes being flooded
Many parts of Ladysmith’s central business district (CBD) have been affected by flooding today (February 10); worse than yesterday.
Roads like Lyell, Forbes, King and Alexandra Street have been the hardest-hit areas.
Businesses had to shut their doors due to the masses of water coming into their premises.
Many businesses in town have suffered major damage to their doors, windows and even items in the shops.
A few residents have been left stranded due to their homes being flooded.
Winterton has also felt the force of Mother Nature, as certain areas have flooded there as well.
Residents are urged to be cautious and not take any chances by crossing low-lying bridges or driving through flooded roads.
