Ladysmith KZN: Al-Imdaad Foundation lends a helping hand to flood-stranded residents
They were given shelter at the Indoor Sports Complex
The Al-Imdaad Foundation assisted the Ladysmith Local Disaster Management, who had to evacuate flood-stranded residents last night (February 9).
12 members of the community had to be evacuated from a household in a low-lying area near the Klip River due to the flooding.
The Al-Imdaad Foundation provided the 12 people with blankets and mattresses.
The residents were given shelter at the Ladysmith Indoor Sports Complex.
