NEWCASTLE KZN: SAPS seeks witness to fatal crime
The victim was assaulted and later died of his injuries.
On June 6, 2020 a victim was severely assaulted by a group of people at the Newcastle Bus and Taxi Rank.
Lizzy Arumugam of the Newcastle SAPS Corporate Communications office said the victim was taken to Madadeni Hospital, but sadly died of his injuries.
“We are appealing to anyone who can assist with information or witnessed the incident to come forward and assist the police with their investigation,” urged Arumugam.
