NEWCASTLE KZN: Local musician nominated for prestigious award

Anton Fitchat has been nominated for a South African Independent Artists Music Award.

Anton Fitchat (30) wears many hats – he is a graphic designer, musician, event organiser and proud ambassador for Home Meah, a place of refuge for abandoned and neglected babies and toddlers in Newcastle.

During the span of his 12-year music career, Anton had the opportunity to perform around the country and collaborate with some of the best in the music industry.

The accomplished artist has now been nominated for a prestigious award at the South African Independent Artist Music Awards (SAIMA’s).

“I feel truly blessed and honoured about the nomination,” said Anton.
