Ladysmith KZN: Police station closed yet again due to Covid-19

The building will be decontaminated in due course and then services will resume as per normal

All communities serviced by Ladysmith SAPS are advised that this police station has been temporarily closed today (January 19) due to a member testing positive for Covid-19.

The Community Service Centre (CSC) will now operate from the Stock Theft Unit (35 Buckingham Street), a few minutes away from the Ladysmith SAPS Community Service Centre, for the convenience of the community.

To access the station, residents can call the landline number on 0366382597 or alternatively call 10111 to report all complainants or emergencies, which will be attended to accordingly. Acting Station Commander: Colonel TM Mngadi can also be contacted on 0796963491

The telephone lines at Ladysmith police station’s Community Service Centre will not be accessible for the duration of the closure. However, service delivery will not be hampered.

The building will be decontaminated in due course, and services will resume normally at the station as soon as the decontamination process is complete.

SAPS management apologises for any inconvenience that may arise as a result of the closure.
