Ladysmith KZN: Sad passing of police captain after long battle with Covid-19

Another police officer from Ladysmith has sadly fallen victim to Covid-19 (coronavirus).

The death of Captain Kevin Pillay has sent shock waves through the Ladysmith community.

Pillay was in hospital for a few weeks, fighting for his life against the dreaded pandemic.

Social media has been a hive of activity, with messages of sympathy pouring in for the captain’s family, friends and colleagues.

The Ladysmith Gazette extends its condolences to the family of the deceased.

May his soul rest in peace.
