Alfred Duma Local Municipality has released a notice to confirm that the Municipal Licensing Section will be temporarily closed with immediate effect.
Management has taken this decision in view of the fact that a municipal employee based at this section has tested positive for Covid-19.
All other employees in the affected section are due for testing and once the results have been obtained, the public will be updated on when licensing services will resume.
The municipality apologises for the inconvenience caused and they further emphasise that everyone is required to comply with all Covid-19 health and safety protocols, as guided by the regulations.
