VRYHEID KZN: Search launched for missing child

The Vryheid Family Violence, Child Protection & Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit is searching for an eight-year-old missing child by the name of Nhlonipho Melusi Nkosi. The child went missing on November 12; he was last seen playing in a rondavel at home. When the community and his family launched a search for him, they found his underwear near the Bivane River, not far from his home in Paulpietersburg.
The SAPS Search & Rescue Team, together with the K9 Unit, were alerted and an official search began. However, the boy is still missing.
An inquiry was opened at the Paulpietersburg police station.
