The Glencoe/Wasbank route, a section of which is presently under repairs, is again hazardous to drive after rocks were placed on the road.
Previously, motorists have complained of the stop and go signs as being unmanned which has seen near head on collisions.
Motorists who drove in the area this morning said it appeared as if the rocks had been placed on the road by the workers.
The reasons are not clear at this stage but unconfirmed reports stated it was related to a payment dispute.
