The Newcastle SAPS is seeking assistance in identifying the deceased who was found near Vezubuhle, near the river.
According to Lizzy Arumugam of Newcastle SAPS Corporate Communications, it is believed he died of natural causes after a post mortem was done and the conclusion was made.
“The deceased is unknown to the investigating officer. The police are appealing for assistance in identifying the deceased, to be able to inform the next of kin as the body is not yet identified,” explained Arumugam.
