Ladysmith KZN: Oscar Hlatshwayo’s murder case back in court

Hlatshwayo was brutally gunned down at the intersection of Francis and Harrismith Road

Simingaye Oscar Hlatshwayo’s murder case, which was postponed on June 8, is back in the Madadeni High Court. Four suspects accused of Hlatshwayo’s murder appeared in the Madadeni High Court on Monday, November 9.

The accused are Nomaswazi Shabalala, Nqobile Ngcobo, Mondli Mabaso and Mduduzi Njuza.

During the court proceedings, Nomaswazi Shabalala’s lawyer withdrew from the case. A source close to the story confirmed that the lawyer withdrew due to matters concerning finances. Shabalala was then advised to take a Legal Aid lawyer, which she declined…

 “There is no turning back from this case anymore,” said investigating officer Constable Muziwamandla Kubheka.
