ESTCOURT KZN: Remembering victims of road crashes

The MEC laid a wreath at the site on the R74 where seven people lost their lives last year

To commemorate World Remembrance Day for Road Accident Victims, KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison Bheki Ntuli visited Bergville today (November 15). The MEC accompanied by uThukela District Municipality speaker Phindile Strydom, Okhahlamba Local Municipality mayor Mlungisi Ndlangisa and a provincial government delegation laid wreaths at the site on the R74 where seven people lost their lives last year. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QpJieLXSnY After a short prayer at the site, the delegation moved to the Bergville Sport Complex where World Remembrance Day 2020 was commemorated under the theme ‘First Responders.
