Ladysmith KZN: Toddler and man struck by taxi in Lyell Street

They were treated for moderate injuries before being taken to hospital

A man and a two-year-old girl were struck by a taxi in Lyell Street earlier today (November 2).

It is believed that the man and the toddler (who was with her mother) were crossing the road when they were hit.

The accident happened at the pedestrian crossing leading from the taxi rank to the Murchison Mall.

Both the man and the toddler were treated for moderate injuries before being taken to hospital for further medical attention.

The taxi did not stop at the scene.
