Ladysmith KZN: Body found near Ingula River

The deceased was in his late 30s

Police need help from the public in identifying a body that was found on Sunday (November 1) in Peacetown. The man’s body was found in the Kwa Gudlucingo area next to the Ingula River.

According to Ladysmith police spokesperson Captain Bongani Nyathi, the deceased was in his late 30s. He had a beard and was wearing blue jeans, a blue striped T-shirt and black boots.

The man is further described as being of slender build with a fair complexion.

“Ladysmith police are requesting the community to come forward and identify the deceased, who is at the Ladysmith Government Mortuary, which is situated at 36 King Street behind the Ladysmith SAPS building. Police have opened an inquest in connection with this incident,” added Captain Nyathi.
