Ladysmith KZN: Massive pipe burst in Van Der Stel Road
Even the swimming pool was submerged, as there was so much water filling the yard
A water pipe burst in Van Der Stel Road in Van Riebeeck Park in the early hours of this morning (October 29).
The leak was on the pavement in front of one of the homes in the street.
It was a massive burst, with so much water pouring out of the pipe that the homeowner’s yard was completely flooded.

Even their swimming pool was submerged due to the volume of water filling the yard.
uThukela workers have responded to the scene and are currently busy with repairs.
