Ladysmith KZN: Burst water pipe on main supply line

Ladysmith has been severely affected by water disruptions over the past few weeks, and now a main supply line has burst.

This morning (October 26), a rising main supply line to the Golf Course Reservoir burst in Cilliers Street.

uThukela workers are at the scene and have isolated the line. Repairs are expected to get underway shortly.

The following areas are likely to be affected and have no water: old golf course, top end of Farquhar Road (La Verna Lenmed Private Hospital), Observation Hill, Hyde Park, Limit Hill, Steadville, Model Kloof and the Danskraal Industrial Area.
