Last month (September), more than nine robberies were reported, with some of the suspects being arrested.
This scourge has spread to Ezakheni, with two separate armed robberies taking place today (October 23) in Ezakheni Section C and E.
In the robbery in Ezakheni C-Section, armed robbers raided a shop and the shopkeeper was stabbed.
In the second robbery, in D-Section, a shopkeeper sustained gunshot wounds.
