Ladysmith KZN: Provincial Hospital faces water challenges due to water-shedding

Ladysmith Provincial (Regional) Hospital has been affected by water challenges this week due to water-shedding.

Speaking to a senior official at the hospital, he says they were not totally without water, as their supply was disrupted on Tuesday and Wednesday (October 20 and 21).

This caused disruptions in their Surgical and X-Ray departments, with work continuing albeit with a delay.

uThukela District Municipality has supplied the hospital with water from water tankers to fill their JoJo tanks.

Also, all the clinics in the area have been supplied with water from tankers to fill their JoJo tanks too.
