NEWCASTLE: Protests against corruption continue in Siyahlala-la

Residents are demanding the removal of Mqapheleni Ngcobo as Ward 25 Councillor.

Protests about alleged corruption with the allocation of low cost housing in Siyahlala-la, continued this morning.

Residents again blocked access roads with barbed wire, burning tyres and refuse, demanding the removal of Mqapheleni Ngcobo as Ward 25 Councillor and that homes be handed over to those who formally applied as much as six years back.
