Roosboom residents are still in a state of shock after a 59-year-old man was gunned down at his house on Sunday evening (October 18).
It is believed that unknown gunmen raided the house and found the 59-year-old in one of his rondavels, where they shot him repeatedly.
According to Ladysmith police spokesperson Captain Bongani Nyathi, the motive behind this brutal killing is unknown at this stage.

“The man, who resided in the Obhuqwini area of Roosboom, was killed by unknown men who entered his house and shot him four times. The attackers then fled the crime scene. Ladysmith police are investigating a murder case,” added Captain Nyathi.
