A truck burst into flames earlier today (October 16) after a crash on the Pieters road.
The truck collided with a delivery bakkie at the Pieters / Protea Drive intersection.
The truck, which was carrying a load of candles, overturned after the collision and caught fire.
Two people were injured in the accident.

A large number of community members gathered at the scene to see what was going on.
Thick black smoke filled the air as Public Safety officers, firefighters, emergency personnel and towing services went about their duties at the scene.
